पल-पल पलटन की ओर
नाव की दशा को देख कर
मन-ही-मन मन्त्र का स्मरण
आतंकवाद ने किया, कि
तुरन्त
देवता-दल का आना हुआ
सविनय नमन हुआ,
सादर सेवार्थ प्रार्थना हुई।
“स्मरण का कारण ज्ञात हो, स्वामिन्
...कह्य गया।
आदेश की प्रतीक्षा में खिसकते हैं
कुछेक पल, कि
देवों का कहना हुआ
नमन की मुद्रा में ही :
‘‘विद्याबलों की अपनी
सीमा होती है स्वामिन्!
उसी सीमा में कार्य करना पड़ता है
...हमें!
कहते लज्जानुभव हो रहा है
प्रासंगिक कार्य करने में
पूर्णतः हम अक्षम हैं
एतदर्थ क्षमाप्रार्थी हैं।
वैसे,
हे स्वामिन्!
तुमने तुलना तो की होगी
अपने बल की उस बल के साथ!
यहाँ आते ही
हमने अनुभूत किया कि
हम मृग-शावक-से खड़े हैं
On beholding the condition of the boat
Which tilted every minute on either sides,
The terrorism remembers
The magic spell at heart, when
At once
Descends there a group of celestial beings
Who bow before the terrorism humbly,
- A request with folded hands is made for doing service. “Let the reason behind calling us be known, O Lord !” ... Is spoken.
While waiting for the instructions,
Some moments slip away, when
The celestial beings speak out
In the very posture of salutation :
“The mystical power of magic spells,
O Lord ! Has its own limitations !
The work has to be performed within those limits,
...by us !
We are feeling ashamed to say that
We are fully incapable
In performing the incidental task,
Hence we ask your forgiveness.
Thus,
O Lord !
You would have indeed compared
Your own strength with their strength !
As we arrive here
We feel that
We are standing like fawns
