वही छल-बल वही उछाल है
काले-काले वही बाल हैं
क्रूर काल का वही भाल है
वही नशा है वही दशा है
काँप रही हैं दिशा-दिशा हैं
वही रसना है वही वसना है
किसी के भी रही वश ना है
सुनी हुई जो वही ध्वनि है
वही-वही सुन! वही धुन है।
वही श्वास है अविश्वास है
वही नाश है अट्टहास है
वही ताण्डव-नृत्य है
वही दानव-कृत्य है
वही आँखें हैं सिंदूरी हैं
भूरि-भूरि जो घूर रही हैं
वही गात है वही माथ है
वही पाद है वही हाथ है
घात-घात में वही साथ है,
गाल वही है अधर वही है
लाल वही है रुधिर वही है
भाव वही है डाव वही है
सब कुछ वहीं नया कुछ नहीं
जिया वही है दया कुछ नहीं।
और प्रारम्भ होती है नदी से
आतंकवाद की प्रार्थना :
“ओ माँ! जलदेवता!
हमें यह दे बता
अपराधी को भी क्या-
The same is the fraud and force, the same the
commotion The same are the curly black hairs
The same is the forehead of the cruel death,
The same is the intoxication, the same the condition
Each and every direction is now trembling with fear,

The same devilish deeds are there
Those very are the scarlet eyes
Which are gazing more and more
The same is the body, the same the forehead
The same is the foot, the same the hand
In each and every hidden blow, the same is the company, The same are the cheeks, the same the lips
The same is the redness, the same the blood
The same is the sentiment, the same the trickfulness Everything is the same, nothing anew
The heart is the same, without a touch of mercy.
