पार लगाती है ?
पुण्यात्मा का पालन-पोषण
उचित है...कर्तव्य है,
परन्तु, क्या पापियों से भी
प्यार करती है?
यदि नहीं
तो...इन्हें...डुबो दो-
जो कुम्भ का सहारा ले
धरती की प्रशंसा करते हैं
उस पार उतरना चाहते हैं!
इनके पाप का कोई पार नहीं है,
इनका पुण्य से कोई प्यार नहीं है,
इनकी प्रिय वस्तु है
धन-वैभव-विषय-सम्पदाएँ
फिर भी...इन्हें सहयोग दोगी
तुम्हारे उज्वल इतिहास का
उपह्मस होगा
ह्रास होगा विश्वास का
फिर औरों की क्या बात,
सबके जीवन पर
प्रश्न-चिह्न लगेगा ही।
वैसे
सन्ताप ताप-शील वाली
जलती, और जो
औरों को जलाती है
अग्नि-देवता को भी
काष्ठ में कीलित किया है तुमने।
Is redeemed by thee ?
The fostering and supporting of saintly souls
Is appropriate...is our duty,
But do thou confer thy affection
Upon the sinners as well ?
“ If not
Then, let them...be...drowned -
Having taken the support of the earthen pitcher,
Who admire the Earth,
Who want to reach the other end !
There is no limit to their sinfulness,
They breed no love in their hearts for virtuous deeds,
Their desired assets are
Wealth, glory, sensual pleasures and properties,
Even then...you will extend co-operation to them
Your bright history
Shall become a laughing stock,
The faith shall receive a setback
Then, what to talk about others,
A question-mark shall indeed be placed
Against the life of all others, indeed.
In the like manner,
You have nailed into the wood
Even the deity of fire –
The fire, that creates trouble and inflammation,
Which burns itself
And sets others to fire.
