भय-विस्मय-संकोच को
आश्रय मत देओ अब!
रस्सी के एक छोर को
मेरे गले में बाँध दो
और
कुछ-कुछ अन्तर छोड़ कर
पीछे-पीछे परस्पर
पंक्ति-बद्ध हो सब तुम
अपनी-अपनी कटि में
कस कर रस्सी बाँध लो!
फिर
ओंकार के उच्च उच्चारण के साथ
कूद जाओ धार में।''
इस पर भी
परिवार का संकोच दूर नहीं होने से,
कुम्भ के मुख से कुछ पंक्तियाँ
और निकलती हैं कि-
“यहाँ
बन्धन रुचता किसे ?
मुझे भी प्रिय है स्वतन्त्रता
तभी...तो…
किसी के भी बन्धन में
बँधना नहीं चाहता मैं,
न ही किसी को
बाँधना चाहता हूँ।
जानें हम,
बाँधना भी तो बन्धन है!
तथापि
स्वच्छन्दता से स्वयं
Don't sustain now
Fright-surprise-bashfulness !
Fasten my neck
With the tip of a cord
And
With some gaps in-between
Covering up behind one-another,
All of you get lined up
With the cord tied closely
Around your own waists !
Then
Jump off into the current
With the forceful enunciation of Omkara”, that is
Om'Despite all this,
Due to the hitch of the family being unremoved,
Some more utterances come forth
From the lips of the sacred pitcher, that –
“Here
By whom the bondage is liked ?
Freedom is agreeable to me also,
That ...is...why
I don't like to be kept
Under anybody's bondage
Nor do I like to keep anybody
Fastened by me.
We should know,
fastening others is a bondage in itself, indeed!
Even then
From the arbitrariness myself
