दूध को पूरा शीतल बना
पेय के रूप में देना है रोगी को,
किंवा
उसी पात्र में अनुपात से जामन डाल
दूध को जमा कर
मथानी से मथ-मथ कर
पूरा नवनीत निकाल
निर्विकार तक्र का सेवन कराना है।
मुक्ता-सी उजली-उजली
मधुर-पाचक-सात्त्विक
कर्नाटकी ज्वार की
रवादार दलिया जो
अधिक पतली न हो
तक़ के साथ देना है
पूर्वाह्न के काल में,
सन्ध्याकाल टाल कर-
क्योंकि
सन्धि-काल में सूर्य-तत्त्व का
अवसान देखा जाता है
और
सुषुम्ना यानी।
उभय-तत्त्व का उदय होता है
जो
ध्यान-साधना का
उपयुक्त समय माना गया है।
योग के काल में भोग का होना
रोग का कारण है,
ओर
भोग के काल में रोग का होना
शोक का कारण है।
Then cooling down the milk fully,
It has to be served to the patient as a drink,
To a considerable extent,
Having congealed the milk
By adding rennet into that same vessel proportionately, And extracting all the butter
After churning it with a churning-stick,
The pure and simple butter-milk has to be served.
As bright and white as a pearl –
Delicious, digestive, endowed with goodness,
Millet of Karnāṭaka
Crystallized into porridge,
Which is not too watery,
Has to be served with butter-milk
Before it is the noon-time,
Warding off the evening hours –
Because
The sun-element, at the (sandhi-kāla), that is, twilight-hour, Is found in its termination
And
There comes into being the rise of the ‘dual-elemento That is ‘Suşumnā’_
which
Has been regarded as the suitable time
For meditation and devotional austerities.
The presence of sensuous element at the time of Yoga Is the reason of ailments,
And
The presence of some disease at the time of worldly pleasures Is the cause of sorrow.
