कहाँ तक कही जाय माटी की महिमा,
तुला कहाँ है वह,
तौलें कैसे ?
किससे तुलना करें माटी की
यहाँ पर ?
तोल-मोल का अर्थ
द्रव्य से नहीं,
वरन्
भाव, गुण-धर्म से है।''
कुम्भ का इतना कहना ही पर्याप्त था कि
माटी की
दो-दो तोले की दो-दो गोलियाँ बना
पूड़ियाँ-सी उन्हें आकार दे कर
दोनों आँखों के ऊपर रखी गईं
और
कुछ ही पलों में वैद्यों ने देखे
सफलता के लक्षण!
सो घड़ी-घड़ी के बाद
नाभि के निचले भाग पर भी
रुक-रुक, पलट-पलट कर
दिन में और रात्रि में
छह-सात बार, छह-सात बार
यही प्रयोग चलता रहा, यथाविधि।
माटी के सफल उपचार से
चिकित्सक-दल प्रभावित हो,
भोजन-पान के विषय में भी
अपना अभिमत बनाता है
कुम्भ के अनुरूप, कि
माटी के पात्र में तपा कर
How far can be depicted the dignity of the Earth,
Where is such a balance,
How to weigh ?
With whom should the Earth be compared
Hereat ?
The significance of weighing and valuating
Isn't based upon the money-matters,
But It carries
with it the attributes, the characteristic qualities.”
Only such words by the earthen pitcher were enough when The two small balls weighing two Tolās! each,
Prepared with the Soil
Were placed upon both the eyelids –
After moulding them as fried cakes,
And
Within a few minutes, the signs of success
Were noticed by the physicians !
Hence, continually, with a gap of twenty four minutes, Upon the lower part of the navel also,
With a stop-gap, turning upside down,
During the day and the night -
Repeatedly for six or seven times,
This very experiment was duly conducted.
The group of physicians, on being impressed
By the fruitful treatment through the soil,
Finalizes its opinion
About the diet and drinks,
In conformity with the sacred pitcher, that,
After boiling up into an earthen vessel,
