वह चरण पूज्य होते हैं
जिन चरणों की पूजा आँखें करती हैं
गन्तव्य तक पहुँचाने वाले
चरणों का मूल्य आँकती हैं
वे ही मानी जाती सही आँखें
चरण की उपेक्षा करने वाली
स्वैरिणी आँखें दु:ख पाती हैं
स्वयं चरण-शब्द ही
उपदेश और आदेश दे रहा है।
हितैषिणी आँखों को, कि
चरण को छोड़ कर
कहीं अन्यत्र कभी भी
चर न! चर न!! चर न!!!
इतना ही नहीं,
विलोम रूप से भी
ऐसा ही भाव निकलता है,
यानी
च...र...ण न...र...च...
चरण को छोड़ कर
कहीं अन्यत्र कभी भी
न रच! न रच! न रच!!!
हे भगवन्!
मैं समझना चाहता हूँ कि
आँखों की रचना वह
ऐसे कौन से परमाणुओं से हुई है-
जब आँखें आती हैं..तो
दुःख देती हैं!
जब आँखें जाती हैं...तो
दुःख देती हैं!
कहाँ तक और कब तक कहूँ,
Those feet are venerable
Where worship is performed by the eyes,
They evaluate the feet
Which cause us to reach our destination
Only those eyes are considered to be the right ones. The wanton eyes which disregard
The holy feet, get unhappy,
The very word ‘Charana itself
Is preaching and instructing
The benevolent eyes, that
Having forsaken the holy feet, that is, the right conduct’ – Never wander ! never wander !! never wander !!! Else-where, at any time !
Not only this much,
By the reverse order too of the syllables
This very sense is inferred,
That is,
Cha...ra...ņa, na...ra...cha...
- Having forsaken the ‘holy feet”, that is, the right
conduct’ – Never be rapt ! never be rapt ! never be rapt ! Else where, at any time !
O God !
I want to understand that
What atoms have gone into
The making of the eyes –
When they are begotten or are sore,...then,
They are troublesome!
When the eyes are ‘lost...then,
They are distressing !
How far and how long I should relate,
