यूँ कहता हुआ ललाट-गत लट
झट से पलट कर मूक होता है।
और...इधर
सानन्द-सम्पन्न हुआ आहार-दान
पात्र का आसन पर बैठना हुआ।
प्रासुक-उष्ण जल से मुख-शुद्धि हुई
अंजलि से उछले अन्न-पान कणों से
प्रभावित
उदर-उर-उरु आदि अंगों को
अपने हाथों से शुद्ध बना कर
कुछ पलों के लिए पलकों को
अर्थोन्मीलित कर
पात्र परम-तत्त्व में लीन हुआ।
कायोत्सर्ग का विसर्जन हुआ,
सेठ ने अपने विनीत करों से
अतिथि के अभय-चिह्न चिह्नित
उभय कर-कमलों में
संयमोपकरण दिया मयूर-पंखों का
जो
मृदुल कोमल लघु मंजुल है।
तृषा बुझाने हेतु नहीं,
परन्तु
शास्त्र-स्वाध्याय के पूर्व
और
शौचादि क्रियाओं के बाद
हस्त पादादि शुद्धि हेतु
शौचोपकरण कमण्डलु में
प्रासुक जल भर दिया गया,
Uttering thus, the lock of hair upon the fore-head
Reverting itself instantly, turns speechless.
And...hither
The food-offerings come to a happy finish,
The holy personage(Munirāja) takes his seat upon a
wooden plank The mouth-wash is done with the boiled warm water Having purified with his own hands The organs-the stomach, chest, and thighs etc., Which are affected
By the bits of offerings which sprang up from the
palms-cavity – The holy saint absorbs himself into the Supreme Spirit For some moments,
With his eye-lids half-unfolded.
The posture of bodily resignation (Kāyotsarga) is
Completed, The eminent trader, with his humble hands, Bestows into both the lotus-hands of the holy guest (Munirāja), Which are marked with the sign of the assurance of Fearlessness, The means of self-restraint made of peacock-feathers That is, ‘Pichhikā', which is Tender,soft, handy and pleasing.
Not for quenching the thirst,
– But, for cleansing the hands and feet etc.
Before the regular study of the holy Scriptures
And
After being free from the calls of nature
The boiled warm water is filled in Kamandalu, that is, -The ‘wooden water-spout”,the means of routine ablutions,
