मुख-पात्र खोला है
कृत संकल्पिता है धरती
कि
दाता की प्रतीक्षा नहीं करना है
दाता की विशेष समीक्षा नहीं करना है।
अपनी सीमा,
अपना आँगन
भूल कर भी नहीं लाँघना है
कारण,
पात्र की दीनता
निरभिमान दाता में
मान का आविर्माण कराती है
पाप की पालडी फिर
भारी पड़ती है वह,
और
स्वतन्त्र-स्वाभिमान पात्र में
परतन्त्रता आ ही जाती है,
कर्त्तव्य की धरती धीमी-धीमी
नीचे खिसकती है,
तब क्या होगा?
दाता और पात्र
दोनों लटकते अधर में।...
तभी...तो…
काले-काले
मेघ सघन ये
अर्जित पाप को
पुण्य में ढालने
जो सत्-पात्र की गवेषणा में निरत हैं,
पात्र के दर्शन पा कर
भाव-विभोर गद्गद हो
The vessel of mouth has been opened
The earth is firmly determined
That
The benefactor is not to be waited for
Special review of the benefactor is not to be done
Our own limit
Our own courtyard
Has not to be transgressed even by mistake
Because,
The pitiableness of a sacred guest-Munirāja
Wakes the appearance of pride
In the prideless benefactor,
The pan of sins then,
Gets heavier,
And
In the free and self-respecting sacred guest
The sense of dependence creeps in, indeed,
The ground of dutifulness, slowly and gradually,
Slides downward,
What shall happen then ?
The benefactor as well as the sacred guest Muniräja Both of them get overhanged in the void.
That...is why…
These dark and blackish
Dense clouds, which
Having obtained the visit of sacred guest-Munirāja
Are absorbed into the search of a holy spot –
To mould their acquired sin
Into the form of meritorious action, On feeling overjoyed with an emotional heart in ecstasy,–
