प्रायः स्वप्न प्रायः निष्फल ही होते हैं
इन पर अधिक विश्वास हानिकारक है।
‘स्व' यानी अपना
‘ए’ यानी पालन-संरक्षण
और
‘न’ यानी नहीं,
जो निजी-भाव का रक्षण नहीं कर सकता
वह औरों को क्या सहयोग देगा ?
अतीत से जुड़ा
मीत से मुड़ा
बहु उलझनों में उलझा मन ही
स्वप्न माना जाता है।
जागृति के सूत्र छूटते हैं स्वप्न-दशा में
आत्म-साक्षात्कार सम्भव नहीं तब,
सिद्ध-मन्त्र भी मृतक बनता है।”
यूँ, अवा की आवाज सुनता-सुनता
अब वो शिल्पी
अवा के और निकट आ गया
पर,
कहाँ सुनी जा रही है
कुम्भ की चीख ...?
कहाँ माँगी जा रही है
कुम्भकार से भीख ?
न ही कुम्भ की यातना
न ही कुम्भ की याचना
मात्र...वह...वहाँ तब!
कहाँ हैं प्यास से पीड़ित-प्राण ?
वह शोक कहाँ
वह रुदन कहाँ
The dreams are generally unavailing
To confide too much in them is harmful.
Swa', that is, our own ‘self’
'P', that is, ‘breeding-securing’
And
“Na’, that is ‘not', -
That which can't secure the sense of our own ‘self
How shall it be of any help to others ?
Connected with the past
Departed from the intimate associate -
The mind, entangled indeed with so many worries,
The threads of awakening are left behind in a
dreamy condition Self-realization is not possible then, Even the accomplished incantation falls ineffective.”
Thus, having heard the voice of the Kiln,
That Artisan, now,
Approaches nearer the Kiln,
But,
Where is being heard
The shrieks of the pitcher ?...
Where is being asked
The begging from the Artisan ?
Neither the tortures of the pitcher
Nor the entreaties by the pitcher
Only the pitcher itself...there at the spot...then !
Where are the vital life-breaths pained by thirst ?
Where is that sorrow
Where are those bewailings –
