ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा है, कि
परिमल-पारिजात पुष्प-पाँखुरियाँ ही
मंगल मुस्कान बिखेरतीं
नीचे उतर रही हों, धीरे-धीरे!
जो स्वर्गों से बरसाई गईं
देवों से धरती का स्वागत-अभिनन्दन है।
कुछ ओलों को पीड़ा न हो,
यूं विचार कर ही मानो
उन्हें मस्तक पर ले कर
उड़ रहे हैं भू-कण!
सो...ऐसा लग रहा है कि
हनूमान अपने सर पर
हिमालय ले उड़ रहा हो।
घटना का यह क्रम
घण्टों तक चलता रहा...लगातार,
इसके सामने ‘स्टार वार'
जो इन दिनों चर्चा का विषय बना है।
विशेष महत्त्व नहीं रखता।
ऊपर घटती हुई घटना का अवलोकन
खुली आँखों से कुम्भ-समूह भी कर रहा।
पर,
कुम्भ के मुख पर
भीति की लहर-वैषम्य नहीं है
सहज-साक्षी भाव से, बस
सब कुछ संवेदित है
सरल-गरल, सकल शकल सब!
इस पर भी
विस्मय की बात तो यह है।
कि,
Is appearing as if,
The flower-petals of the fragrant coral-tree
Are being showered down from the heavens !
Are gradually descending underneath !
Scattering about their auspicious smile !
Like the welcome-greetings of Earth by gods.
The hail shouldn't feel pained
As if thinking thus, indeed,
The particles of Earth are flying
While keeping them over their heads !
Hence...it seems, that
Hanumān 7" is soaring high
With the Himālaya over his head!
This chain of happenings
Continue for hours incessantly,
In the face of it, the star-war
Which has become a current topic these days,
Doesn't gather much significance.
The group of pitchers too, with its open eyes,
Is noticing this occurrence happening upwards.
But,
There is no trace of the uneven wave of awe
Upon the face of any pitcher
Every thing is experienced, only
With a natural sense of testification - The simple and the poisonous, the part and the whole-all!
In spite of this
The point of wonder, really is
That,
