अकेली ही चलती मछली
सामयिक सूक्तियाँ छोड़ती हुई
प्रत्येक व्यवधान का
सावधान हो कर
सामना करना
नूतन अवधान को पाना है,
या यूँ कहूँ इसे-
अंतिम समाधान को पाना है।
गुणों के साथ
अत्यन्त आवश्यक है।
दोषों का बोध होना भी,
किन्तु
दोषों से द्वेष रखना
दोषों का विकसन है।
और
गुणों का विनशन है,
काँटों से द्वेष रख कर
फूल की गन्ध-मकरन्द से
वंचित रहना
अज्ञता ही मानी है,
और
काँटों से अपना बचाव कर
सुरभि-सौरभ का सेवन करना
विज्ञता की निशानी है।
सो….
विरलों में ही मिलती है।
And, departing with its companion,
The fish starts off all alone,
Leaving behind the timely wise sayings :
To face every obstruction
With due precautions
Is to achieve fresh concentration,
Or it should be re-told thus-
It is to find out the final solution.
Along with the virtues
It's absolutely necessary
To understand the vices also,
But
To breed ill-will against vices
Is to help grow the vices
And
It's to destroy the virtues;
To foster malice for the thorns
And to miss
The fragrance and pollen of the flowers
Is regarded only ignorance,
And
Having secured ourselves against the thorns,
To make good use of the fragrance and saffron
Is a symbol of wisdom-
That...
Which is found rarely amongst us !
