अब शुक्ल ध्यान के भेद बतलाते हैं-
पृथक्त्वैकत्ववितर्कसूक्ष्मक्रियाप्रतिपाति
व्युपरत-क्रियानिवर्तीनि ॥३९॥
अर्थ - पृथक्त्ववितर्क, एकत्ववितर्क, सूक्ष्मक्रियाप्रतिपाति और व्युपरत क्रियानिवर्ति ये चार शुक्लध्यान के भेद हैं। ये सब नाम सार्थक हैं। इनका लक्षण आगे कहेंगे।
English - The four types of pure concentration are that of many substances through the activity of mind, speech and body, that of one substance through the activity of mind, speech and body, that of subtle activity and that of complete destruction of activity.
