जात-पात को भी, हा
लात लगा दी तूने!
लाज-लिहाज वाली
कोई वस्तु ही नहीं तेरे लिए!
इसे तू समता नहीं कह सकती
न ही असीम क्षमता!
दूसरों से प्रभावित होना
और
दूसरों को प्रभावित करना,
इन दोनों के ऊपर
समता की छाया तक नहीं पड़ती।
तेरे रग-रग में
राग भरा है निरा।
भले ही बाहर से दिखती है
स्फटिक-मणि की रची
अर्मल उजली-तरली-सी
अरी, मायाविनी झारी!
कब तक छुपा सकती है राज को ?
अब बकवाद मत कर
बक ने सबक ली है
तेरी इस प्रकृति से ही!
अब मेरी प्रकृति का परिचय क्या दूँ ?
जो कुछ है खुला है”
यूँ कुम्भ ने कहा,
‘‘यह घट चूंघट से परिचित हुआ भी कब?
आच्छदन के नाम से
इस पर आकाश भर तना है
चाव-बचाव, सब कुछ
इसी की छाँव में है।
Thou hast kicked off
Even the caste and community, ah me!
There remains for thee
Nothing like modesty and regard !
Thou can't name it as equanimity
Nor an unlimited competence !
To be influenced by the others,
And
To influence the others –
Upon the both of these
Even the shadow of equanimity doesn't fall.
Mere passions are running
Through thine each and every nerve.
It matters little that, from outside,
Thou appears to be made of crystal,
-Looks as if rippling, bright and fluid,
O Thou fraudulent ewer !
How long thou can keep it a secret ?
No more of gabbling now
