पास यदि पाप हो तो...छुपाऊँ,
छुपाने का साधन जुटाऊँ,
औरों की स्वतन्त्रता वह
यहाँ आ लुटती नहीं कभी,
न ही किसी से अपनी मिटती है।
किसी रंग-रोगन का मुझ पर प्रभाव नहीं,
सदा-सर्वथा एक-सी दशा है मेरी
इसी का नाम तो समता है
इसी समता की सिद्धि के लिए
ऋषि-महर्षि सन्त-साधु-जन
माटी की शरण लेते हैं,
यानी
भू-शयन की साधना करते हैं
और
समता की सखी, मुक्ति वह
सुरों-असुरों-जलचरों
और नभश्चरों को नहीं,
समता-सेवी भूचरों को वरती है।
अरी झारी, समझी बात!
माटी को बावली समझ बैठी तू
पाप की पुतली कहीं की!"
और
कुम्भ डूबता है मौन में...!
पाप की पुतली के रूप में
झारी को मिला सम्बोधन
इसको सुन कर
If there is any sin with me I should hide it Then...,
I should gather the means to get it concealed,
That freedom of the others
Is never sacked, on their joining here,
Nor is our own effaced by any one.
- No dye and polish tell any effect upon me,
My condition always displays fully the complete
uniformity It is indeed named as equanimity
For the accomplishment of this very equanimity
The great sages and seers, the saints and hermits
Take refuge with the Earth,
That is,
Practise perfection in sleeping upon the Earth
And
A friend to equanimity, the liberation -
Chooses the devotees of perfect calmness moving
upon the Earth,- Not the gods, the demons,
And the beings moving under the water and in the sky. 0 Thou ewer, do you understand the point !
Thou hast taken the Earth to be crazy,
0 Thou a petty puppet of sins !
And
The Earthen pitcher sinks into deep silence...!
In the form of a “doll of sins’
The ewer gets an address,
On hearing which –
