There is a small garden near the city
Nasiyāji-a glorious temple is there outside within
the garden
Whose crest kisses the sky,
The rounded pinnacle is glittering fast,
With its golden glory
The rounded pinnacle indicates that
All the brilliance and splendour of the world
Is erroneous and deceiving also,
It is without the significance of the virtuous path.
At Nasiyāji, there is a ‘Jina-Image'
Of Neminātha, very beautiful to look at,
The image is visited
A sense of real self is perceived
The body feels thrilled
A chorus of joy is sung.
The noble trader prostrates once more
Upon the holy feet of the Spiritual Guide
A prelude to return is made, but
The body shows signs of deficiency.
The eyes become wet with tears
The path seems to be out of sight
The feet assume some heaviness
The weeping doesn't get stopped,
Though, an attempt is made to control it,
He starts weeping bitterly
And begins to roll restlessly
At the auspicious and venerable feet.
