सन्तों की, गुणवन्तों की
सौम्य-शान्त-छविवन्तों की
जय हो! जय हो! जय हो!
पक्षपात से दूरों की
यथाजात यतिशूरों की
दया-धर्म के मूलों की
साम्य-भाव के पूरों की
जय हो! जय हो! जय हो !
भव-सागर के फूलों की
शिव-आगर के चूलों की
सब-कुछ सहते धीरों की
विधि-मल धोते नीरों की
जय हो! जय हो! जय हो!
अब तो...और
आसन्न आना हुआ अतिथि का!
प्रारम्भ के कई प्रांगण पार कर गये
, पथ पर पात्र के पावन पद
पल-पल आगे बढ़ते जा रहे,
पीछे रहे प्रांगण-प्राणों पर
पाला-सा पड़ गया
वह पुलक-फुल्लता नहीं उनमें!
भास्कर ढलान में ढलता है
इधर, कमल-वन म्लान पड़ता है,
फिर भी
पात्र पुनः लौट आ सकता है
यूँ, आशा भर जगी है उनमें।

To those who possess an amiable and peaceful
Appearance There be victory ! victory ! victory !
To those who are far away from partiality To those who are the brave ascetics in their natural naked form To those who are the roots of the religion of Compassion To those whose hearts are filled with the true equanimity There be victory ! victory ! victory ! To those who are the coasts to the ocean of worldly existence To those who are the pivots of the treasure-house of salvation To those who are firm-minded in tolerance To those who are like waters for washing the dirt of Karmas There be victory ! victory! victory ! Closer comes the arrival of the sacred guest Munirāja He crosses many courtyards at the start,
The holy feet of the worthy guest-Munirāja
Are taking large strides forward every minute,
The life-breath of the courtyards left behind
Looks like frost-bitten
There isn't among them the normal rejoicing and bloom! The sun reclines over the slope
Hither the lotus-grove withers away,
Even then
A ray of hope awakes into their hearts
That the worthy guest may turn his feet back.
