भानु अग्रिम दिन तो आ सकता है
...आता ही है !
परन्तु
पथ पर चलते-चलते
अध-बीच मुड़ कर नहीं आता
मुड़ कर आना तो...दूर
मुड़ कर देखता तक नहीं वह,
पूर्व से पश्चिम की ओर यात्रा करता
पश्चिम से पूर्व की ओर आता हुआ
देखा नहीं गया आज तक,
और सम्भव भी नहीं।
दाताओं, विधि-द्रव्यों की पहचान
कब, कैसा कर लेता है पात्र,
पता तक नहीं चल पाता
बिजली की चमक की भाँति
अविलम्ब सब कुछ हो जाता है।
‘‘पात्र का प्रांगण में आना,
फिर
बिना पाये भोजन-पान
लौट जाना…
घनी पीड़ा होती है दाता को इससे”
यूँ ये पंक्तियाँ
एक दाता के मुख से निकल पड़ीं।
हाथों हाथ
सन्तों की बात भी याद आई उसे, कि
परम-पुण्य के परमोदय से
पात्र-दान का लाभ होता है
हमारे पुण्य का उदय तो...है
परन्तु, अनुपात से
The sun may appear the next day also
...It does appear, indeed !
But
While tracking its way
It doesn't take a turn the half-way
Far from returning back..
It doesn't even turn itself to see,
While taking its journey from Eastwards to Westward, It has never been sighted,
Arriving Eastward from Westward even up to
this day,
And that is not possible also.
When and how does the worthy guest-Munirāja Recognizes the benefactors and the ceremonial
Substances– Can't be even detected, Every thing happens without delay Like a flash of lightning.
“The arrival of worthy guest within the courtyard,
Then
Without obtaining food and water
Turning back…
- The benefactor is deeply pained on that Score"
Thus, these utterings
Broke out from the lips of a benefactor. Hastily
He remembered the saying of the Saints, that
Due to the supreme rise of the Supreme moral merits The benefit of food-offering is accredited,
The moment of the rise of our moral merits is
there...indeed,
