किधर से आ रही है?
किसकी है,
किस कारण से,
किसकी गवेषणा को निकली है?
नर की है, या नारी की,
बालक की है या बालिका की ?
किसी पुरुष की तो नहीं है निश्चित,
कारण कि अनुपात से
पर्याप्त पतली लग रही है कानों को।
आखिर इसका क्या आशय है ?
इसकी स्पष्टता-प्रकटता
अब...विदित हुई, सो…
‘‘ओ धरती माँ!
सन्तान के प्रति हृदय में दया धरती
क्या शिशु की आर्त-आवाज
कानों तक नहीं आ रही ?
मंजिल का मिलना तो दूर,
मार्ग में जल का भी कोई ठिकाना नहीं!
फल-फूल की कथा क्या कहूँ,
यहाँ...तो…
छाया की भी दरिद्रता पलती है।
