क्षेत्र की दूरी सिमट गई
सघन-कणों का
पिघलन-कणों से मिलन हुआ।
परस्पर गले से गले मिल गये !
शेष बचा संस्कार के रूप में
छल का दिल छिल गया
सब कुछ निश्छल हो गये
और
जल को मुक्ति मिली।
लो! यूँ
मेघ से मेघ मुक्ता का अवतार!
यह किसकी योग्यता
वह कौन उपादान है ?
यह किसकी सहयोगता
वह कौन अवदान है ?
यहाँ वेदना किसकी
वह कौन प्राण है ?
यहाँ प्रेरणा किसकी
वह कौन त्राण है ?
वे सब शंकाएँ
स्वयं निःशंका हुई
अब सब कुछ रहस्य
खुल गया पूरा का पूरा,
मुक्ता की वर्षा होती
अपक्व कुम्भों पर
कुम्भकार के प्रांगण में...!
पूजक का अवतरण!
पूज्य पदों में प्रणिपात।

Mingled up with the liquefying atoms
Which embrace each other closely !
In the form of the remaining purificatory rites
The inner core of deception is worn away,
Everything appears to be guileless
And
The watery portion is emancipated.
Lo! Thus
The procreation of the cloud-pearl like the cloud!
Whose capacity is this -
What is that eminent cause ?
Whose co-operation is this
What is that meritorious work?
Whose agony is hereat
What are those vital breaths ?
Whose inspiration is herewith
What are those means of protection ?
All these doubts
Feel themselves doubtless,
Now all the mystery
Is fully unravelled,
The pearls rain down
Upon the unripened jars
Within the courtyard of the Potter-artisan...!
