‘‘काया तो काया है।
जड़ की छाया-माया है।
लगती है जाया-सी...

कम-से-कम एक कंबल तो...
काया पर ले लो ना!
ताकि...और..."
चुप हो जाती है माटी
तुरन्त ही...फिर
शिल्पी से कुछ सुनती है वह-
“कम बलवाले ही
कंबलवाले होते हैं
और
काम के दास होते हैं।
हम बलवाले हैं।
राम के दास होते हैं।
और
राम के पास सोते हैं।
कम्बल का सम्बल
आवश्यक नहीं हमें
सस्ती सूती चादर का ही
आदर करते हम!
दूसरी बात यह है कि
Covers his limbs !
