दूब उग आई है खूब!
वर्षा के कारण नहीं;
चारित्र से दूर रह कर
केवल कथनी में करुणा रस घोल
धर्मामृत-वर्षा करने वालों की
भीड़ के कारण!
आज पथ दिखाने वालों को
पथ दिख नहीं रहा है, माँ!
कारण विदित ही है-
जिसे पथ दिखाया जा रहा है
वह स्वयं पथ पर चलना चाहता नहीं,
औरों को चलाना चाहता है
और
इन चालाक चालकों की संख्या अनगिन है।
क्या करूँ ?
जो कुछ घट रहा है
लिखती हूँ...उसे
उसका रस चखती हूँ
फिर...बिलखती...हूँ…
लिखती...हूँ...माँ!
लेखनी...जो...रही...!''
शिल्पी को स्तब्ध देख कर
क्या करुणा की पालड़ी भी हलकी पड़ी ?
इतनी बाल की खाल तो मत निकालो-
कहती-कहती करुणा रो पड़ी !
