जिसे देख कर
श्रृंगार की अज्ञता पर
सब रसों की मूल-जनिका स्रोतस्विनी
प्रकृति माँ कुपित हो आई
और
श्रृंगार के गालों पर
दो-चार चाँटे दिये,
बाल-लाल के गाल ये
प्रवाल-सम लाल हो आये।
सुत को प्रसूत कर
विश्व के सम्मुख प्रस्तुत करने मात्र से
माँ का सतीत्व वह
विश्रुत-सार्थक नहीं होता
प्रत्युत,
सुत-सन्तान की सुसुप्त शक्ति को
सचेत और
शत-प्रतिशत सशक्त-
साकार करना होता है, सत्-संस्कारों से।
सन्तों से यही श्रुति सुनी है।
सन्तान की अवनति में
निग्रह का हाथ उठता है माँ का
और
सन्तान की उन्नति में
अनुग्रह का माथ उठता है माँ का
और यही हुआ-
प्रकृति माँ की आँखों में
रोती हुई, करुणा !
बिन्दु-बिन्दु करके
दृग-बिन्दु के रूप में
On seeing which
The original mother- river of all the sentiments
The Mother-Nature fretted and fumed
Over the ignorance of the Sentiment of Love,
And
Struck the cheeks of the love-sentiment
With a few slaps,
The cheeks of the hero of the youngsters
Appeared reddish like coral.
Having given birth to a son
By barely presenting him before the world,
The chastity of the mother
Doesn't become renowned and fruitful
Contrary to it,
The latent power of sons or offspring Has to be awakened, and
Has to be rendered cent-per-cent capable
And concrete, through the true refinements.These very holy words have been heard from the sages.
In the downfall of the offspring
Mother's hand of restraint is raised
And
In the progress of the offspring
Mother's head of favour is held high –
And that is what happened –
In the eyes of the Mother-Nature
The tearful compassion,
Drop-by-drop,
In the form of eye-drops...
