काया का मत
सम्मान करो...!
जिन चरणों में
सादर आली
चरणाई वह
पुलक आई है
गुनगुना रही है
पूरा चल कर
विश्राम करो…!
और सुनो !
ओर-छोर कहाँ उस सत्ता की ?
तीर-तट कहाँ गुरुमत्ता का ?
जो कुछ है, प्रस्तुत है
अपार राशि की एक कणिका
बिन्दु की जलांजलि सिन्धु को
वह भी सिन्धु में रह कर ही।"
यूँ कहती-कहती
मुदिता माटी की मृदुता
मौन का पूँघट मुख पर लेती !
‘‘पूरा चल कर विश्राम करो !"
इस पंक्ति ने
शिल्पी के चेतन को सचेत किया
और
मन को मथ डाला
पूरी स्फूर्ति आई तन में
जो शिथिल-श्लथ हो आया था।
Don't bow in respect
Before the body...!
Saluting those feet
With the venerable assembly,
Has joined joyfully
That fast stepping
Which is ‘humming’
Having accomplished a perfect journey
Stay in rest...!
And listen !
Where is the beginning and the end of that ‘Supreme Spirit’
Where is the brink and bank of the ‘Supreme Soul' ?
Whatever is there is manifest -
A particle of an Infinite vastness
A libation of a drop to the ocean -
And that too while staying into the ocean indeed !”
Uttering in this way
The mi'ness of the glad Soil
Draws the veil of silence over her face !
"Having accomplished a perfect journey stay in rest !"
This saying
Awakened the Spirit of the Artisan
And
Stirred up his conscience
With full agility was flushed the body
Which had become languidly slow.
