अरुणाई वह
झलक आई है,
कुछ दिला रही है
समता का नित
अनुपान करो…
जिन गालों में
मांसल वाली
तरुणाई वह
ढुलक आई है,
कुछ बता रही है-
समुचित बल का
बलिदान करो...!
जिन बालों में
अलि-गुण-हरिणी
कुटिलाई वह
भणक आई है।
कुछ सुना रही है-

Of that Supreme Spirit ?
The eyes where-in
With black collyrium
Has over-brimmed
That compassion,
Which makes us learn something -

The lips where-in
With crystal-clear redness

The locks of hair where-in
That curliness
