धीरे-धीरे
झारी की समझदारी
बहुतों को समझ में आने लगी है,
और
झारी का पक्ष
सबल होता जा रहा है, अनायास।
चन्द चमक से उछलती हुई
चाँदी की कलश-कलशियाँ,
चालाक चालकों से छली
बड़ी-छोटी चमचियों
तामसता से तने हुए
तमतमाते ताम्र-बर्तन,
राजसत्ता में राजी-रमे
पर-प्यार से पले
और भी भ्रम में पड़े
प्यासे प्याले-प्यालियाँ…
जिन्हें,
पक्षपात का सर्प सूँघा था
ऐसे
लगभग सब भाजन
स्वर्ण-पक्ष को ठुकरा कर
झारी के चरणों में झुकते हैं।
लो, अब
झारी कहती है : ‘‘हे स्वर्ण-कलश!
जो माँ-सत्ता की ओर बढ़ रहा है
समता की सीढ़ियाँ चढ़ रहा है
उसकी दृष्टि में
सोने की गिट्टी और मिट्टी
एक है
और है ऐसा ही तत्त्व!
By and by
The wisdom of the ewer
Has come to be understood by several persons,
And
The side of the ewer
Is gaining favour without any effort.
The big and small jars of silver
Jumping up with some shinings,
The big and small spoons
Misled by the cunning conductors
The copper vessels, growing red in face,
As if tied up out of malice,
The thirsty cups and plates...
Appeased and mixed up with the royal arrogance.
Nourished under the fondness of the others, –
Hence caught into the sway of delusion,–
Of such type, -
Almost all the utensils,
Which
Were sniffed by the snake of partiality,
Bow themselves at the feet of the ewer,
After discarding the golden side.
Lo now The ewer says: “O Thou Golden-pitcher !
The one, who is advancing towards the
Mother-existence,
Who is ascending the stairs of equanimity,
Into his deeper insight -
The pieces of gold, as well as those of the clay,
Are one and the same,
And, really, such is the true state !
