Acharya Maharaj and the sangha marched from the village Sadguwan to Khurjakhera. All the sadhus in the sangha were fatigued as they had been walking without a break. All of a sudden, Acharya Maharaj remarked, “The mind suggests that the body should be given some rest.” All the disciples endorsed the suggestion in one voice and said, “Yes Maharaj! You should rest for a while.” Acharya Maharaj said laughingly, “The mind may well talk of rest, but the soul desires that one should perform the samayik.” And in an instant, Acharya Maharaj was firmly seated in the posture of meditation and was absorbed in the samayik. We were all astonished at this spectacle. The degree of self-discipline demonstrated by Acharya Maharaj through his life style is indeed without a parallel.
