फिर भला बता दो हमें,
आस्था कहाँ है समाजवाद में तुम्हारी ?

समाज बाद में!
अरे कम-से-कम
शब्दार्थ की ओर तो देखो!
समाज का अर्थ होता है समूह
और
समूह यानी
सम-समीचीन ऊह-विचार है
जो सदाचार की नींव है।
कुल मिला कर अर्थ यह हुआ कि
प्रचार-प्रसार से दूर
प्रशस्त आचार-विचार वालों का
जीवन ही समाजवाद है।
समाजवाद समाजवाद चिल्लाने मात्र से
समाजवादी नहीं बनोगे।''
ऐसे असभ्य शब्दों का प्रयोग
किया जा रहा कि
जिसके सुनते ही
क्रोधाग्नि भभक उठती हो,
और
मान तिलमिला जाता हो
पत्थरों की मार से
घनी चोट लगने से
सबके सिर फिर-से गये हैं
रक्त की धारा बह उठी है
Your firm opinion is full of such ( Tāmasatā) that is
malignancy, Well, then tell us,
Where is your faith in socialism ?

Look into the true sense of the word indeed!
The word society means 'Samūha”, - that is ‘a social group ' And,
Samūha', that is, a group' carries the sense-
“Sama', that is, rational', *ūha' means “thinking' -
That, which is the foundation of good moral conduct.
The sum and substance is that
Away from advertisement and propaganda
The life of those having exemplary conduct and
thinking Is indeed socialism,
You will not be a socialist
Only by crying aloud the slogans of socialism."
Such vulgar words
Are being hurled, that
At once, on hearing them
The spark of anger would flare up,
And
The sense of self-respect would get painfully restless;
Due to the pelting of stones
On being deeply hurt,
The heads of all have almost turned dizzy
