धूल के अभाव में
फूल की गति क्या होगी
बताने की आवश्यकता नहीं,
अब
बल का दुरुपयोग नहीं होगा
समर्पण हो चुका है
ऊर्जा उपासना में उलट चुकी है
उर में उदारता आ चुकी है।''

‘इत्यलम्' कहती हुई
मौन लेती है नदी।
नदी की मौन गम्भीरता से
आतंकवाद की धीरता में
पीड़ा-उदासी नहीं आई।
कुछ क्षण स्तब्धता...फिर!
वही...ध्रुव की...ओर
सरोष सक्रियता…
और,
यह सही नीति है कि
रणांगन में कूदने के बाद
मित्र-बल की स्मृति नहीं होती
प्रत्युत, शत्रु-बल पर
टूट पड़ना ही होता है।
पराश्रय लेना दीनता का प्रतीक है।
वीर-रस को क्षति पहुँचती है इससे,
इतना ही नहीं,
मित्रों से मिली मदद
यथार्थ में मद-द होती है।
