जिनके ललाट-तल पर
कुंकुम का त्रिकोणी तिलक लगा है,
लगता है महादेव का तीसरा नेत्र ही
खुल-कर देख रहा है।
राहु की राह पर चलनेवाला है दल
आमूल-चूल काली काया ले।
क्रूर-काल को भी कँपकँपी छूटती है
जिन्हें
एक झलक लखने मात्र से!
काठियावाड़ के युवा घोड़ों की पूँछ-सी
ऊपर की ओर उठी
मानातिरेक से तनी
जिनकी काली-काली मूँछे हैं।
जिनके गठीले संपुष्ट-
बाजुओं को देख कर
प्रतापशाली भानु का बल भी
बावला बनता है।
जिन बाजुओं में
काले धागों से कसे
निम्ब-फल बँधे हैं,
अन्त-अन्त में यूँ कहूँ कि
जिनके अंग-अंग के अन्दर
दया का अभाव ही भरा है।
मुख हृदय का अनुकरण करता है ना!
प्रायः संपुष्ट शरीर
दया के दमन से ही बनते हैं,
तभी तो सन्तों की ये पंक्तियाँ कहती हैं :
“अरे देहिन्!
द्युति-दीप्त-संपुष्ट देह
The surface of whose fore-heads
Bear triangular marks of saffron
It seems as if the very third eye of Mahādeva
Is gazing, on getting opened.
The gang is about to move in the Rāhu
a_like wayWith its black body,
from top to bottom.
By whom
Only a glimpse being shown,
Makes even the cruel death feel shivering !
Like the tails of the young horses of Kathiyawad
Who keep up blackish moustaches,
Raised upwards And twisted with excessive arrogance. - On beholding whose robust
And strong arms,
Even the strength of the glorious Sun
Becomes insane.
- The arms, around which,
Fastened with black strings
The lemon-fruits are tied up,
Ultimately, I should rather say, that,
Within whose each and every limb
The lack of mercy is really filled up.
-The face, indeed, follows the heart !, isn't it!
Generally, the bouncing bodies
Are built-up by the suppression of mercy,
That is why, these lines from the saints say :
“O Thou embodied soul !
The bouncing body, radiant with splendour
