वाणी का नामकरण
एक ही क्यों -
ऐसी आशंका नहीं करनी चाहिए।
एक-सी लगती है,
पर एक है नहीं वह।
यहाँ पात्र के अनुसार
अर्थ-भेद ही नहीं
शब्द-भेद भी है।
सज्जन-मुख से निकली वाणी
‘वै' यानी निश्चय से
‘खरी' यानी सच्ची है,
सुख-सम्पदा की सम्पादिका।
मेघ से छूटी जल की धारा
इक्षु का आश्रय पा कर
क्या मिश्री नहीं बनती ?
और
दुर्जन-मुख से निकली वाणी
‘‘वै' यानी निश्चय से
‘खली' यानी धूर्ता पापिनी है
सारहीना विपदा-प्रदायिनी
वही मेघ से छूटी जल-धारा
नीम की जड़ में जा कर
क्या कटुता धरती नहीं ?
यहाँ पर
‘ली' के स्थान पर
‘री' का प्रचलन हुआ है।
प्रमाद या अज्ञान से,
