‘नि’ यानी निज में ही
‘यति' यानी यतन-स्थिरता है
अपने में लीन होना ही नियति है।
निश्चय से यही यति है,
और
‘पुरुष' यानी आत्मा-परमात्मा है
अर्थ' यानी प्राप्तव्य प्रयोजन है
आत्मा को छोड़ कर
सब पदार्थों को विस्मृत करना ही
सही पुरुषार्थ है।
नियति का और पुरुषार्थ का
स्वरूप ज्ञात हुआ सही-सही
तो...
काल की भाव-धर्मिता
जो मात्र उपस्थिति-रूपा
प्रेरणा-प्रदा नहीं,
उदासीना एक-क्षेत्रासीना है
छुपी नहीं रही, खुल गई।
सेठ की शंकाएँ उत्तर पातीं
फिर भी...
जल के अभाव में लाघव
गर्जन-गौरव-शून्य
वर्षा के बाद मौन
कान्तिहीन-बादलों की भाँति
छोटा-सा उदासीन मुख ले
घर की ओर जा रहा सेठ...!
तेल से बाती का सम्बन्ध
लगभग टूट जाने से
किंवा
"Ni", that is, within our own ‘self '
“Yati”, that is, the endeavour
To be absorbed within our own ‘self' is the destiny Certainly, it is indeed the stage of higher quietude,
And
“Puruşa', that is, the ‘Soul' is the ‘Supreme Spirit’
‘Artha', that is, the attainable' is the real purpose,
Barring the Soul
The forgetting of everything else Is the supreme endeavour, that is, the right *Puruşārtha’.
The nature of ‘destiny' and Supreme Endeavour
Is, indeed, known in their genuine form
Then, at the same time,...
The attributive existence of Time,
Which is only in the form of ‘presence
And not as a ‘motive-force,
Which is neutral, and seated on single quarter,
Hasn't remained concealed, has got unravelled.
The doubts of the noble trader find their answer Even then...!
Like the clouds without brilliance
Having lightness in absence of water,
Without the glory and thunder,
Being, silent after the rains -
- The noble trader is tracking his way home –
With a small downcast face...!
