छोड़ दें, पुरुषार्थ को ?
हे परम-पुरुष! बताओ क्या करूँ ?
काल की कसौटी पर
अपने को कहूँ क्या ?
गति-प्रगति-आगति
नति-उन्नति-परिणति
इन सबका नियन्ता
काल को मानूं क्या ?
प्रति पदार्थ स्वतन्त्र हैं।
कर्ता स्वतन्त्र होता है-
यह सिद्धान्त सदोष है क्या ?
‘होने' रूप क्रिया के साथ-साथ
‘करने' रूप क्रिया भी तो…
कोष में है ना!''
सेठ की प्रश्नावली सुन कर
वात्सल्यपूर्ण भाषा में
माँ पुत्र को समझाती-सी,
मौन तज कर कहा गुरु ने, कि
‘‘इन सब शंकाओं का समाधान यहाँ है
मेरी ओर...इधर...ऊपर देखो!"
और
ऊपर की ओर देखना हुआ
गीली आँखों से-
मौन-मुद्रा में मुस्कान की मात्रा
थोड़ी-सी भी मिली नहीं,
गम्भीरता से पूरी भरी है वह,
आँखों में निश्चलता है
ललाट पर निश्छलता है
वही रहस्योद्घाटन करती-सी...
Should I relinquish my perseverence (Puruşārtha) ?
O Supreme personage (saint), tell me what to do?
Should I test myself
On the touchstone of time ?
Should I accept the time
As the supreme ruler
Of all the movements-developments-arrivals,
Stoopings-progress-modifications ?
Each and every substance is independent.
The ‘doer' is free -
Is this principle faulty ?
Along with the verb-form ‘being’
There is the verb-form ‘doing’ also…
In the dictionary, indeed !”
On hearing the questionnaire of the eminent
Trader, As if a persuading mother to a son
In caressing words,
Having broken his silence, the Spiritual Guide said, that “ The answer to all these doubts is hither
Look at me...here...upwards...!"
And
The upward looking was done
With tearful eyes –
Only a silent posture was met with,
Even a bit of smile wasn't found
Behind the countenance, It is filled up with gravity,
There is a stillness in the eyes
There is an innocence across the forehead -
Which really seems to unravel the mystery...
