मृदु और काठिन्य में साम्य है, यहाँ।
और
यह हृदय हमारा
कितना कोमल है,
इतना कोमल हैं क्या
तुम्हारा यह उपरिल तन ?
बस
हमारे भीतर जरा झाँको,
मृदुता और काठिन्य की सही पहचान
तन को नहीं,
हृदय को छूकर होती है। “
श्रीफल की सारी जटाएँ हटा दी गईं
सर पर एक चोटी-भर तनी है
जिस चोटी में महकता
खिला-खुला गुलाब फंसाया गया है।
प्रायः सबकी चोटियाँ
अधोमुखी हुआ करती हैं,
परन्तु
श्रीफल की ऊर्ध्वमुखी है।
हो सकता है
इसीलिए श्रीफल के दान को
मुक्ति-फल-प्रद कहा हो।
‘‘निर्विकार पुरुष का जाप करो”
यूँ कहती-सी
आर-पार प्रदर्शन-शीला
शुद्ध स्फटिकमणि की माला
कुम्भ के गले में डाली गई है।
अतिथि की प्रतीक्षा में निरत-सा
यूँ, सजाया हुआ
There is a resemblance here between the soft and the hard. And
How tender is
This heart of ours,
Is your external body
Soft in such a measure ?
Enough of it,
peep a bit into us,
The true cognizance of softness and hardness
Is obtained by touching the heart
And not the body.”
All the coirs of the coconut were removed,
Only a crest of hair is stretched up overhead
Into which, a blooming open fragrant rose
Has been decorated.
Everybody's crests of hair overhead
Are generally downcast,
But
That of the coconut is upcast.
It might be so,
Hence the offering of a coconut Would have been termed as the ‘bestower of the fruit of salvation'.
“Tell the beads of a rosary in memory of passionless sacred soul-Muniraja',
As if uttering such words A garland of pure gems of crystal, Exhibiting transparency, Has been put around the neck of the pitcher.
Decorated in this manner, As if
attentive in waiting for the sacred guest Munirāja.
