कटते गिरि पर ग्रीष्म-दिन
दिनकर की अदीन छाँव में।
यूँ! कुम्भ ने भावना भाई
सो, ‘‘ भावना भव-नाशिनी''
यह सन्तों की सूक्ति
चरितार्थ होनी ही थी, सो हुई। लो, इधर...वह
नगर के महासेठ ने सपना देखा, कि
स्वयं ने
अपने ही प्रांगण में
भिक्षार्थी–महासन्त का स्वागत किया
हाथों में माटी का मंगल कुम्भ ले।
निद्रा से उठा, ऊषा में,
अपने आप को धन्य माना
और
धन्यवाद दिया सपने को,
स्वप्न की बात परिवार को बता दी।
कुम्भकार के पास कुम्भ लाने
प्रेषित किया गया एक सेवक,
स्वामी की बात सुना दी सेवक ने,
सुन, हर्षित हो शिल्पी ने कहा
‘‘दम साधक हुआ हमारा श्रम सार्थक हुआ हमारा
और
हम सार्थक हुए।"
कुम्भकार की प्रसन्नता पर
सेवक और प्रसन्न हुआ,
The summer-days pass upon the high hills Under the shining shadow of the Sun. Thus ! the pitcher promotes its feelings Therefore,‘sacred sentiments are the saviours from Worldly-bondage'-This saying by the sages Has to accomplish the very meaning, indeed, Hence, it proves its purport...to be valid.
Lo, hither...that
The eminent trader of the city dreams that
He, himself
In his own courtyard
With an auspicious pitcher of soil into his hands
Receives a great saint, seeking holy alms.
Wakes up from his sleep, at dawn,
Regards himself as a blessed one
And
Thanks his dream,
Tells the gist of the dream to his family.
One of the servant is sent to the pot-maker To bring back a pitcher, The servant communicates what his master tells him, On hearing it, the Potter-artisan says delightfully:
"Our vital energy sustains us
Our labours prove to be fruitful
And
We come out as successful."
On seeing the Artisan rejoicing
The attendant feels still more pleased,
