“मन-वांछित फल मिलना ही
उद्यम की सीमा मानी है''_
इस सूक्ति को स्मृति में रखता हूँ।
यही कारण है कि,
पथ में विश्राम करना
यह पथिक नहीं जानता।
प्रभु से निवेदन-फिर से
अपूर्व शक्ति की माँग!
भुक्ति की ही नहीं,
मुक्ति की भी
चाह नहीं है इस घट में
वाह-वाह की परवाह नहीं है
प्रशंसा के क्षण में।
दाह के प्रवाह में अवगाह करूं
परन्तु,
आह की तरंग भी
कभी नहीं उठे
इस घट में...संकट में।
इसके अंग-अंग में
रंग-रग में
विश्व का तामस आ भर जाय
कोई चिन्ता नहीं,
किन्तु, विलोम-भाव से
यानी
ता...म...स स...म...ता...!
हे स्वामिन्, और सुनो...!
व्यक्तित्व की सत्ता से
पूरी तरह ऊब गया है यह,
‘The attainment of the desired results indeed,
Has been acknowledged the limit of the endeavours’ - -This saying is retained in my memory. That is the reason why,
This wayfarer doesn’t know
To take rest on the way.
Pray to God-again a requisition
For an unique strength !
Not only the longing for sensual gratifications,
But even that for liberation
Isn't there within this Pitcher
There is no concern for repeated applauds
In the moments of praise.
Let me immerse into the stream of feverish heat,
But,
Even a ripple of sigh
Should never arise
Into this pitcher...in severe troubles.
Let the darkness of the universe should come
And fill its each and every limb,
Each and every nerve-
There is nothing to be worried for,
But, through the sense of a reverse order of words-, That is to say, "Tāmasa”,
that is ignorance'... Samatā...,” that is, 'Equanimity’!
O Lord, listen a bit more...!
It has been bored up fully
With the sway of personality,
