कुम्भ की स्पर्शा ने कुम्भ को पूछा, कि
यह कौन-सा परस है?
कुम्भ ने कहा-‘‘विशुद्ध परस है
इसका अनुभव
बिना जले-तपे सम्भव नहीं है।”
इसी सन्दर्भ में कुम्भ की रसना ने भी
इस बात की घोषणा कर दी, कि
‘‘अग्नि में रस-गुण का अभाव है।”
यह जिन धीमानों की धारणा है
अनुभव और अनुमान से बाधित है।
जब धूम का रसास्वादन हो सकता है
तब
अग्नि का स्वाद रसना को क्यों न आएगा?
हाँ! हाँ!!
रस का स्वाद उसी रसना को आता है
जो जीने की इच्छा से ही नहीं,
मृत्यु की भीति से भी ऊपर उठी है।
रसनेन्द्रिय के वशीभूत हुआ व्यक्ति
कभी भी किसी भी वस्तु के
सही स्वाद से परिचित नहीं हो सकता,
भात में दूध मिलाने पर
निरा-निरा दूध-भात का नहीं
मिश्रित स्वाद ही आता है,
फिर, मिश्री मिलाने पर...तो-
तीनों का ही सही स्वाद लुट जाता है!
धूम्र-घुटन से मुच्छिंता हुई
कुम्भ की पतली नासा वह,
घुटन के अभाव में अब
रसना की घोषणा का समर्थन करती-सी
The inner-feeler of the pitcher asks the pitcher itself - What type of touch is it ?
The pitcher replied-it is the purest touch
Its experience Isn't possible
without observing austerities and penance.
In this very context, even the tongue of the pitcher
Declares the point, that –
“The fire is fully devoid of the sense of taste’-
This settled opinion held by some of the wise ones
Is hampered by experience and inference.
When the smoke can be tasted
Why, then
The taste-organ would fail in tasting the fire ?
Yes! O yes !!
- The flavour can be relished through that very tongue Which has risen not only above the instinct
to live, But also above the fear of death.
The man overpowered by the taste-organ, tongue –
Can never be acquainted with
The genuine taste of any thing indeed,
On mixing the boiled rice with milk
Only the taste of the admixture is felt, And not
that of the milk and the boiled rice separately, Then, On blending with the sugar candy...too – The exact taste of all the three stuffs is undone !
The lean and thin nose of the pitcher
Which faints due to the choking by the smoke,
Now, as if supporting the declaration by the tongue
In absence of the sense of suffocation,
