प्रलयकालीन चक्रीवात-सम,
और कुछ नहीं,
मात्र धूम...धूम...धूम....!
फलस्वरूप इधर
कुम्भकार का माथा घूम रहा
कुम्भ की बात मत पूछो!
कुम्भ के मुख में, उदर में
आँखों में, कानों में
और नाक के छेदों में,
धूम ही धूम घुट रहा है
आँखों से अश्रु नहीं, असु-
यानी, प्राण निकलने को हैं;
परन्तु
बाहर से भीतर घुसने वाला धूम
प्राणों को बाहर निकलने नहीं देता,
नाक की नाड़ी नहीं-सी रही कुम्भ की
धूम्र की तेज गन्ध से।
फिर भी!
पूरी शक्ति लगा कर नाक से
पूरक आयाम के माध्यम ले
उदर में धूम को पूर कर
कुम्भ ने कुम्भक प्राणायाम किया
जो ध्यान की सिद्धि में साधकतम है
नीरोग योग-तरु का मूल है।
अन्न को नहीं,
अग्नि को पचाने की क्षमता
अपनी जठराग्नि में है या नहीं
Like the whirlwind of final destruction of the world,
Nothing else,
Only smoke...smoke...smoke...!
Consequently hither
The Potter-artisan's head is whirling
No mention of how does the pitcher do !
The smoke and only the smoke is
Blocking up the mouth of the pitcher,
The belly, the eyes, the ears
And the holes of the nose as well,
Not the tears but the life-breath; that is,
The vitality, is going to breathe its last;
But
The smoke which is entering inside from outside
Doesn't permit the life-breath to break off;
Due to the pungent smell of the smoke
The nose-nerve of the pitcher is almost dead.
Even then ! Having
utilized the full capacity of the nose, While taking the medium of supplementary process, After filling the belly with the smoke, The pitcher observes the Yogic process Of suspending breath in Prāṇāyāma, that is, Kumbhaka Which is a most effective means In accomplishing the meditation, Which is the root of the healing tree of Asceticism. Does our digestive fire of stomach have The capacity to digest the fire itself And not merely the food-stuffs,
