आदिम-घाटी को ही पार कर रही है,
घाटियों की परिपाटी प्रतीक्षित है अभी!
और...सुनो!
आग की नदी को भी पार करना है तुम्हें,
वह भी बिना नौका!
हाँ? हाँ !!
अपने ही बाहुओं से तैर कर,
तीर मिलना नहीं न हैं बिना तेरे।
इस पर कुम्भ कहता है, कि
‘‘जल और ज्वलनशील अनल में
अन्तर शेष रहता ही नहीं
साधक की अन्तर-दृष्टि में।
निरन्तर साधना की यात्रा
भेद से अभेद की ओर
वेद से अवेद की ओर
बढ़ती है, बढ़ना ही चाहिए।
अन्यथा,
वह यात्रा नाम की है
यात्रा की शुरूआत अभी नहीं हुई है।”
कुम्भ की ये पंक्तियाँ
बहुत ही जानदार
असरदार सिद्ध हुईं..।
Is only crossing over the primitive valley,
The series of the valleys is still awaited!
And...listen !
You have to pass through even the river of fire,
And that too without a boat !
Yes! O yes !!
Swimming off with your own strength of arms,
The coast can't be reached without swimming."
On hearing this, the pitcher adds, that
“Before the deep-insight of the devotee
No difference does remain
Between the water and the inflammable fire.
The journey towards perfect ascetic devotion
Proceeds, all along and ought to proceed, Indeed
From diversity to unity
From the perceptible to the imperceptible
Otherwise,
That journey is merely worth its name
The journey has not yet been commenced.”
These few lines of the pitcher
Proved to be very vital
Very impressive....
