वसन्त-वर्षा-तुषार-घर्मा
सब ऋतुओं में समान-कर्मा
जीवन के क्षण-क्षण में
मैत्रिक-भाव का आस्वादन करता
पैत्रिक-भाव का अभिवादन करता
पवन का आगमन हुआ।
ऐसे व्यक्तित्व के सम्बन्ध में ही
सन्तों की ये पंक्तियाँ मिलती हैं, कि
‘‘जिसकी कर्त्तव्य-निष्ठा वह
काष्ठा को छूती मिलती है
उसकी सर्वमान्य प्रतिष्ठा तो...
काष्ठा को भी पार कर जाती है।”
लो, स्मरणमात्र से ही
मित्र का मिलन हुआ...सो
फूल गुलाब फूला न समाया
मुदित-मुखी
आमोद झूला झूलने लगा,
परिणाम यह हुआ-
आगत मित्र का स्वागत स्वयमेव हुआ।
फूल ने पवन को
प्रेम में नहला दिया,
और
बदले में
पवन ने फूल को
प्रेम से हिला दिया!
Possessing the attributes of Spring, Summer,
Rains and Frosty Winter And moving uniformly through all the seasons, At every moment of life
Which tastes the sense of friendliness At every moment of life Which salutes the sense of ancestral care.
With reference, indeed, to such personality
These sayings of the saints are meant, that
“Whose dutifulness
Is found touching the height of eminence,
His universally acknowledged honour, indeed…
Surpasses even the highest limit itself.'
Lo, a meeting with the friend
By having only a remembrance of him, is availed
Hence...the rose feels overjoyed,
With a jubilant face
It starts swinging into the cradle of delight,
The result is -
The reception of the visiting friend occurs by itself.
The flower bathes
The wind with affection,
And
In return of it
The wind moves
The flower with a caressing touch!
