विकट से विकटतम संकट भी
कट जाते हैं पल भर में;
आपको स्मरण में लाते ही
फिर...तो...प्रभो!
निकट-निकटतम निरखता
आपको हृदय में पाते भी
विलम्ब क्यों हो रहा है,
आर्य के इस कार्य में...?"
इसी अवसर पर, यानी
आगत संकट पर ही
गुलाब के काँटे भी दाँत कटकटाते हैं,
कर्ण-कटु कुछ कहते यूँ :
‘‘अरे संकट!
हृदय-शून्य छली कहाँ का!
कण्टक बन मत बिछ जा!
निरीह-निर्दोष-निश्छल
नीराग पथिकों के पथ पर!
अपना हठ छोड़,
अब तो हट जा
पथ से...दूर...कहीं जा,
वरना,
काँटे से ही काँटा निकाला जाता है-
क्या यह पता नहीं तुझे ?
ध्यान रख!
कुछ ही पलों में पता ही न चलेगा तेरा!’’

इसी बीच इसी विषय में
डाल पर लटकता फूल
From difficult to most formidable dangers too
Are warded off within seconds;
Then...indeed...0 Lord !
Instantly, while remembering You,
By taking a closer and the closest view;
How is it that delay is taking place
In the performance of the high Personage (Arya) –

On this very occasion, that is,
About the advent indeed of the approaching peril
The thorns of roses also grind their teeth !
Utter something bitter, in this way:
“O Thou, the Calamity !
Thou heartless unknown swindler !
In the form of thorns, don't get thyself scattered
