ऊपर से नीचे की ओर गिरते
अनगिन जल-कणों से,
नीचे से ऊपर की ओर उड़ते
अनगिन भू-कणों का
जोरदार टकराव!
परिणाम यह हुआ, कि
एक-एक जल-कण
कई कणों में विभाजित होते-
जोरदार बिखराव!
चारों ओर जोर...शोर…
और
छोर-शून्य सौरमण्डल में
धूम्रदार घिराव…!
घनों के ऊपर विघन छा गया
भू-कण सघन हो कर भी
अघ से परे अनघ रहे,
घनों के कण अनघ कहाँ ?
अघों के भार, सौ-सौ प्रकार
सो भयभीत हो भाग रहे,
और
भू-कण ये भूखे-से
काल बन कर,
भयंकर रूप ले
जल-कणों के पीछे भाग रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर इन्द्र भी
अवतरित हुआ, अमरों का ईश।
परन्तु
उसका अवतरण गुप्त रहा वह
दृष्टिगोचर नहीं हुआ
With the countless water-particles
Falling down from the upper stratus !
There is a forceful encounter
Of the countless earthly particles-
Soaring high from the low levels
The result is, that
Each and every water-particle
Gets itself divided into many pieces –
There is a very strong dispersion!
All around...stress...noise…
And
Into the endless solar system
A smoky encirclement...!
While sparsely overspread the disturbance upon the clouds, The earthly particles, despite being dense, Remain guileless, beyond the guilt ;
Where are the particles of the clouds sinless?
They are fleeing away out of fear
Due to the hundredfold burden of sins,
And
These hungry-looking particles of Earth
Assuming the form of a calamity,
Are running after the particles of water
In a horrible shape.
On this occasion, Indra too,
The Lord of gods, lands down in human form.
– But
His incarnation remains a secret
He can't be sighted,
