भली-बुरी भविष्य की गोद में है
करवटें लेती पड़ी अभी!
इस पर भी
दोनों के मन में चैन कहाँ ?
आकुलता कई गुना बढ़ी है।
दिन में, रात में
प्रकाश में, तम में
आँख बन्द कर के भी
दोनों प्रलय ही देखते हैं,
प्रलय ही इनका भोजन रहा है
प्रलय ही प्रयोजन” !
धरती के विलय में
निलय किसे मिलेगा ?
और कहाँ वह जीवन-साधन...?
धरती की विजय में
अभय किसे न मिलेगा ?
और यहाँ जीवन-सा धन!
हमें, तुम्हें और उन्हें
यहाँ कोई चाहे जिन्हें।
हाय, परन्तु!
कहाँ प्राप्त है इस
विचार का विस्तार इन्हें ?
कुटिल व्याल-चालवाला
कराल-काल गालवाला
साधु-बल से रहित हुआ
बाहु-बल से सहित हुआ।
The good and the bad lies in the lap of future
At present, it is turning sides, while lying!
In spite of this,
Aren't the hearts of the both of them restless -?
The uneasiness has multiplied several times.
Day in and day out
Under daylight, under the cover of darkness
Even after closing their eyelids
Both of them see only the universal destruction,
The annihilation has been their foodstuff
The annihilation, indeed, their purpose...!
How shall an abode be found
In the universal dissolution of the Earth ?
And whereat those means of life...?
In the triumph of Earth
Who shall not obtain an assurance of fearlessness?
And hereat, a treasure like the very ‘Life' itself!
For us, for you and for them
Whosoever seeks these here,
Alas, but !
- Where do they get
The evolution of this thought ?
That who possesses a crooked serpentine motion
That who possesses terrifying jaws of death -
- Became devoid of the saintly strength,
And gained the physical force.
