क्या आपसे परिचित नहीं ?
क्या मृगराज के सम्मुख जा
मनमाना करता है मृग भी ?
क्या मानी बन मेंढक भी
विषधर के मुख पर जा
खेल खेल सकता है?
कहीं ऐसा तो नहीं कि
धरती की सेवा के मिष
आपका उपहास कर रहा हो !
कुछ भी हो, कुछ भी लो,
मन-चाह्य, मुँह-माँगा!
माँग पूरी होगी सम्मान के साथ,
यह अपार राशि राह देख रही है।
शिष्टों का उत्पादन-पालन हो
दुष्टों का उत्पातन–गालन हो
सम्पदा की सफलता वह
सदुपयोगिता में है ना !’’
राह में राशि मिलती देख
राहु गुमराह-सा हो गया
हाय! खेद की बात है
राहु की राह ही बदल गई।
और
चुपचाप यह सब पाप
होता रहा दिनदहाड़े-
सरासर सागर से निर्यात
सौर-मण्डल की ओर...!
यान में भर-भर कर
झिल-मिल, झिल-मिल
अनगिन निधियाँ
Isn't the Sun familiar with you ?
While standing before a lion… Does
even a deer act according to its own sweet will ?
Can even a frog being arrogant,
Play sportively
After finding itself upon a snake's hood ?
Probably is it not so, that
Under the pretext of serving the Earth
He (Sun) should have been mocking at you !
Come what may, take what-ever you should,
The desired, the requisitioned thing!
The demand shall be met with due regard,
This unlimited heap of wealth is awaiting you.
The civilized ones should be produced and protected The wicked ones should be uprooted and squeezed, The success of prosperity
Lies there in its due utility, indeed!"
On seeing the availability of wealth in the way
The-Rāhu-goes astray,
Alas ! it is a matter of sorrow,
The very path of the ‘Rāhu' is altered, indeed,
And
All these sinful acts are committed
Stealthily, in the broad daylight –
The export from the ocean in toto
Towards the solar system...!
Having loaded into an aerial car
The treasure of countless
Dazzling and glimmering gems
