मुक्ता की दुर्लभ निधि ले
राज-कोष को और समृद्ध करता है।
इसी भाँति
धरती की धवलिम कीर्ति वह
चन्द्रमा की चन्द्रिका को लजाती-सी
दशों दिशाओं को चीरती हुई
और बढ़ती जा रही है
सीमातीत शून्याकाश में।
सूरज-शूरों, वीरों की
श्रीमानों की, धीमानों की
धीर-जनों की, तस्वीरों की
शिशुओं की औ पशुओं की
किशोर किस्मतवालों की
युवा-युवति, यति-यूथों की
सामन्तों की, सन्तों की
शीलाभरण-सतियों की
परिश्रमी ऋषि-कृषकों की
असि-मषि कर्मकारों की
ऋद्धि-सिद्धि-समृद्धों की
बुद्धों की, गुणवृद्धों की
तरुवरों की, गुरुवरों की
परिमल पल्लव-पत्तों की
गुरुतर गुल्म-गुच्छों की
फल-दल कोमल फूलों की
किसलय-स्निग्ध किसलयों की
पर्वत-पर्व-तिथियों की।
And
Having received the rare treasure of pearls,
Enriches the state-treasury further more.
In the same manner!
That bright glory of the Earth,
As if putting the moon-light to shyness,
Piercing through all the ten directions
Is constantly growing
High around the limitless firmament.
That of the sun-like heroes and the braves
That of the wealthy and the wise
That of the firm-minded and their paintings That of the children and the animls That of the fortunate adolescents That of the lads and lasses and the group of saints That of the feudal lords and the ascetics That of the chaste women adorned with character That of the toilsome hermit-like farmers
That of the workers with sword and pen in hand
That of the accomplished sages and the inspired seers That of the divine personages and the virtuous elders That of the grand trees and the great Spiritual Guides That of the fragrant buds and tender leaves That of the dense cluster of shrubs That of the soft flowers and the bunches of fruits That of the new-born leaves like
smooth sprouts That of the mountains and the observance of festivals, –
