बाहुबल मिला है तुम्हें
करो पुरुषार्थ सही
पुरुष की पहचान करो सही,
परिश्रम के बिना तुम
नवनीत का गोला निगलो भले ही,
कभी पचेगा नहीं वह
प्रत्युत, जीवन को खतरा है।
पर-कामिनी, वह जननी हो,
पर-धन कंचन की गिट्टी भी
मिट्टी हो, सज्जन की दृष्टि में!
हाय रे!
समग्र संसार-सृष्टि में
अब शिष्टता कहाँ है वह ?
अवशिष्टता दुष्टता की रही मात्र!’’

पापड़-सिकती-सी काया सबकी

करवटें बदलने लगी...
अंग-अंग में तड़पन-पीड़ा
एड़ी से ले चोटी तक
विष व्याप्त हुआ हो सब में
मुग्धा मण्डली मूर्च्छित हुई
मोही मन्त्री समेत...
सबको देह-यष्टि नीली पड़ गई।
You have got the strength of arms
Engage yourself in right endeavours
Recognize the genuine person,
You may well swallow a ball of butter,
Without hard work,
It shall never be digested
On the contrary, the life is imperilled !
The other's better-half, be regarded as mother,
The other's riches, even a piece of gold,
Be merely a clod in the eyes of a virtuous man !

Where is to be found that decorum ?

The enchanted party faints
