The favour of their own lord – the ocean

Seemed to be contrary to them

The side of the lord of universe – the Sun

Appeared to be agreeable to them.

On hearing about their bright heritage

The sense of repugnance was reflected

For the offence that was chanced

    And for themselves, as well,

    Hence...they instantly added :

“ The error should be pardoned, O Lord !

The female devotees wish to offer their services,

    When that manifested beauty

Be visible to these eyes ?

The dust should be pacified, O Lord !

That which had been an unacquainted nourishment, That which had been an enormous base – The source of the element of joy

Should, fundamentally, be understood, o lord !”

What ought to be done, what ought not to be done ? The discretion to recognize milk-and-water was aroused, We became the lady-attendants of the divine one…The observers with the eyes of equanimity, Whose playful performance was imbibed with The mildness and delight of the body and the mind, And the manner of speech, as well…

Who were absorbed in the acts of charity

Who were skilled in the virtue of mercifulness

Who looked like an humble Indian lute...!

    Who renounced passions and pleasures,

    Who were devoted to non-attachment

Who looked like an innocent lovely she-goose...!
