Whose digestive power of temperance has Diminished Who is sick of possession and accumulation To that man, she makes drink ‘Mahi'

That is, a dish of sour butter-milk,

Hence she is called 'Mahilā’...'a lady' !

The one who brings Ava', that is,

‘ Avagama’ - i.e., the flame of knowledge',

    Having effaced the darkness-ignorance

    Brings awakening to life -

She is called ‘Abalā’ 59b_ the fragile woman' !

    Or, the one, who

    Having fully removed

    The inclinations of man's heart

From the conditions of the past

    And

    The expectations of the future

Holds him over to the ‘aba', that is ‘now',

    The living present

Is called ‘Abalā – ‘the fragile woman'...!

"Balā", that is, ‘problem’, ‘hazard' –

    Not ‘balā’... therefore, ‘Abalā -

    - A solution without any problem !

In absence of an ‘Abalā, i.e., a ‘so-called fragile woman' Even a strong man becomes weak,

    All the wide world then,

Proves to be a multitude of problems,

    Hence, consigned to ladies,

    This name ‘Abalā’ carries sense!
