बदले में फिर
सुरीले स्वर-संगीत सुनते हैं श्रवणों से
मन्त्र-मुग्ध हो, खो कर अपने को
दैनिक-रात्रिक सपने को!
इसी भाँति,
धरती माँ की आज्ञा पालने में रत हैं।
नाग, सूकर, मच्छ, गज, मेघ आदि
जिनके नाम से मुक्ता प्रचलित हैं-
वंश-मुक्ता, सीप-मुक्ता
नाग-मुक्ता, सूकर मुक्ता
मच्छ-मुक्ता, गज-मुक्ता
और मेघ-मुक्ता!
मेघ-मुक्ता बनने में भी धरती का ही हाथ है
सो...स्पष्ट होगा यहीं...
इन सब विशेषताओं से
सातिशय यश बढ़ता गया धरती का,
चन्द्रमा की चन्द्रिका को
अतिशय ज्वर चढ़ता गया।
धरती के प्रति तिरस्कार का भाव
और बढ़ा
धरती को अपमानित-अपवादित
करने हेतु
चन्द्रमा के निर्देशन में
जलतत्त्व वह अति तेजी से
शतरंज की चाल चलने लगा,
यदा-कदा स्वल्प वर्षा करके।
दल-दल पैदा करने लगा धरती पर।
धरती की एकता-अखण्डता को
Then, in return
Hears melodious musical notes with his ears
Being enchanted, forgetting himself
And his day-to-day nightly dreams !
In this very way,
In obedience of the order of Mother-Earth are occupied The serpents, boars, milters, elephants, clouds etc. After whose names the pearls are prevalent- The bamboo pearls, the oyster-pearls
The snake-pearls, the boar-pearls
The fish-pearls, the elephant-pearls And the cloud-pearls ! In the formation of the cloud-pearls too
the earth plays its role

The pre-eminent fame of earth augments,
The fever of the Moon-beam
Goes up excessively high.
The sense of disregard towards the earth
Increases more and more,

That watery element, very swiftly,
Starts its chess-like moves
