इस मन का छल निश्चल है।
मन माया की खान है ना!
बदला लेना ठान लिया है।
शिल्पी से इसने।
शिल्पी को शल्य-पीड़ा दे कर ही
इस मन की चैन मिलेगा
वैसे
मन वैर-भाव का निधान होता ही है।
मन की छाँव में ही
मान पनपता है।
मन का माथा नमता नहीं
न-‘मन’ हो, तब कहीं
नमन हो ‘समण’ को
इसलिए मन यही कहता है सदा-
नम न! नम न!! नम न!!!
बादल-दल पिघल जाए,
किसी भाँति! काँटे का
बदले का भाव बदल जाए
इसी आशय से
माटी कुछ कहती है उसे कि
‘‘बदले का भाव वह दल-दल है।
कि जिसमें...
बड़े-बड़े बैल ही क्या,
बल-शाली गज-दल तक
बुरी तरह फँस जाते हैं।
और
गल-कपोल तक
पूरी तरह धँस जाते हैं।
The fraudulence of this mind is stable
The mind is really the mine of 'Māyā'- Phantasm !
It has resolved to take revenge
With the Artisan.
This mind shall feel relieved
By inflicting a heart-rending sorrow
Upon the Artisan-
So to say,
The mind is an abode of hostility, indeed.
The arrogance is reared up really
Under the shadow of the mind,
The fore-head of the mind is not bowed,
If non-mindedness is there, then alone
The homage is paid to an ‘ascetic’,
Therefore the ‘Desire body’, the mind,
Always tells-
No bowing ! no bending !! no nodding !!!
The band of clouds should get melted,
The revengeful attitude of the thorn
Should somehow get softened,
With this very intention
The soil tells it thus:
“The revengeful attitude is that morass
In which...
What to talk of the bulky bullocks,
Even the mighty bands of elephants
Are badly entrapped
And
Run deep into it
Upto neck-and-cheeks.
